DWTS: Who’s Going Home Tonite?

So tonight it’s all about Dancing With The Stars …we had the 11 remaining couples this week (you’ll recall controversial politico Tom DeLay is gone due to injury, and actress Debi Mazar was sent packing last week).But before we get to tonight’s poll, two things bear mentioning: First a hearty congratulations to supermodel/hostess Heidi Klum and her hubby Seal, who welcomed a baby daughter they’re calling Lou Samuel. The tiny Seal pup joins three siblings. And secondly, Michael Jackson’s posthumous single “This Is It” has been released. The new tune however, isn’t exactly. Turns out, the original version of the track was in fact penned by MJ and Paul Anka back in 1983, and they sang it as a duet, entitled “I Never Heard”.

But back to the Dancing.

4 new dances: the two-step, the bolero, the Charleston, and the lambada (and remember, 3 of them are not “forbidden”).

So last night Melissa Joan Hart, Mya and Joanna Krupa finished first, second and third respectively with people’s fave Donny Osmond sharing fourth place…but tonight we have the elimination round. Oh! And Shakira”s going to sing. So there’s that. Now to the poll. 11 couples left. It’s getting close (or at least very interesting and curiously injury-laden). Top Earning Supermodels

Supermodel Gisele Bundchen

Forbes.com recently published a list of the models who earn the most, with the top three being Gisele Bundchen, Heidi Klum and Kate Moss. Are they worth it? Let’s discuss.

Gisele brought in $25 million last year and has been the top earning supermodel for three years straight. That sounds like a lot of money for posing and strutting, does it not? She seems more famous for being Mrs. Tom Brady than for being a former Victoria’s Secret model, but she sure is easy on the eyes. One would be hard pressed to flip through a women’s magazine without seeing her in multiple ads and editorial spreads.

Heidi earned $16 million, which includes her work as executive producer, host and judge of Project Runway (which finally debuts on Lifetime in August. Yea!) Seal’s wife possesses business savvy on both sides of the camera; I wouldn’t be surprised if she surpassed Gisele in earnings next year.

Kate raked in $8.5 million for a third place finish among top models. She’s the face of Donna Karan, Yves Saint Laurent and Roberto Cavalli, among others, and designs clothing for UK-based retailer Topshop. Miss Moss is no stranger to scandal, but that doesn’t seem to stop her from being the go-to-gal for fashion campaigns.

And Mr Heidi Klum is actually singing acapella for us. Although I guess thats something they al ought to be ble to do. But theres something kind of nice about the raw element of standing in a room filled with shrieking poeple (and Paris Hilton…who just walked by me) and then just belting it out. Impressed.

So there’s about a million limousines lined up, no doubt chock full of what they call “Talent” — that’s what they call the stars. And according to the documents Ive just taken a gander at, we’re waiting for some of the following (this is just a quick glance…) wait for it…Christina Applegate, Selma Blair, Omar Epps, Ellen DeGeneres, Dakota Fanning, Kthryn Heigl, Eric McCormack, Debra Messing (werent they on a show together?) Kate Hudson, Gary Oldman, Jordin Sparks, Adam Sandler, Carrie Underwood, Robin Williams, Reese Witherspoon, Seal…how’s that for an early preview?
