Our inner child is freaking out over this one… Life Size the sequel is officially a go!

While there have been rumors about a sequel to the Disney Channel Original movie for some time now, the news was finally made official on Wednesday (April 19) during Freeform’s New York City upfronts presentation.

For those of you who remember, the original movie starred Tyra Banks and Lindsay Lohan, and centered around a young girl (Lohan) who accidentally brought her Barbie-like doll, Eve (Banks), to life.

According to E! News, the network revealed during the presentation that although the sequel is definitely being made, it won’t make its debut on the channel until 2018. We’ve waited 17 years already, so we guess we can handle one more.

The good news is that the movie will premiere in December of that year because it’s a holiday movie! Isn’t that so exciting?

Banks already revealed that she was ready to play Eve back in 2015, so it sounds like she’s still a go. Now all we need to know is if the sequel will include Lohan!

Life Size 2 will premiere on Freeform in December 2018.
