Sara Lance is busy being part of the Legends of Tomorrow team, but is there any chance she and Nyssa al Ghul can still be lovers of tomorrow?

When even something as seemingly permanent as death can’t keep two people apart, you’d think they’d faced the worst of their problems. But then a little something called time travel warped into their lives and Arrow-universe’s Nyssa al Ghul (Katrina Law) and Sara Lance (Caity Lotz) were kept apart once again. While Sara is off flying from time period to time period, Nyssa is off doing whatever it is that former League of Assassins leaders do.

If anyone in the CW’s DC universe actually had time for Facebook, then a new relationship option would have to be created for Nyssa and Sara because “It’s complicated” doesn’t even begin to cover it.  Even so, Law herself believes there’s still hope for the “soulmates” to reconnect in some way.

“I personally think yes,” Katrina Law told People’s Choice at the Heroes & Villains Fan Fest in NJ last July of a Nyssa/Sara reconciliation. “I think they are star-crossed lovers and they’re soulmates and they’re meant to be and at some point, no matter which way their characters move, they’re always gonna come together.”

Don’t pull out the party decorations just yet, shippers. The story of Nyssa and Sara remains tricky and with so many reasons why they can’t be together, Law isn’t so sure they will be.

“Whether that means they can be together is a different story, but I think that their paths will always cross.”

We sure hope so, Katrina, because Sara and Nyssa’s relationship is a complicated, but beautiful one!

Katrina Law currently stars in Training Day, airing Saturdays on CBS at 9/8c!
