Do you love X-Men? Well, so does Halle Berry… like a lot.

In 2007, Berry won the People’s Choice Award for Favorite Female Action Star and couldn’t stop talking about her fierce character, Storm in X-Men.

“Wow, thank god I did wear underwear tonight,” she joked before starting her speech. “Wow, this is incredible.”

Although X-Men has always had a huge following, Berry seemed genuinely shocked by all the fans in the audience.

“David Duchovny thank you so much for giving me this award and thank you to you, I had no idea that you guys loved Storm so much. Wow, thank you, thank you,” she said.

The Catwoman actress then gave a shout out to the X-Men creator.

“I want to thank Tom Rothman for allowing me to play Storm and Brett Radner for allowing Storm to finally use her cape and fly this year,” she told the fans.

Before saying goodbye, she asked everyone there to do her a favor, in the name of the next X-Men movie.

“I have something to ask you guys ,okay wait a minute, let me ask you something. You guys really love X-Men?” she asked. “Here’s what you have to do, write letters, if every one of you in this building who love X-Men and want to see X-Men 4, write a letter to Tom Rothman at FOX and tell him so, and you will get another one and I’ll be there too.”

“Thank you very much, thank you,” she concluded.

There have been a few more X-Men movies since Berry’s win, so thank you Berry for your plea, it worked!
