Once upon a time, Taylor Lautner was Jacob Black in Twilight and he couldn’t get in any words over the screaming girls that followed him.

At least that was the case in 2010 when Taylor won his first People’s Choice Award.

The actor won for Favorite Breakout Movie Actor and the audience seemed just as excited about his win as he was.

In fact, Dianne Kruger was one of the presenters of his award, and even she screamed when saying his name. We’re pretty sure it’s because she knew Twilight fans were going to freak, but still it was hilarious.

“Wow, thank you. Thank you so much. There are a lot of you out there,” Lautner said as he took the stage.

After letting the loving fans scream in adoration, he continued to thank everyone.

“This really means a lot to me. This is my first People’s Choice and it wouldn’t have happened without you guys, the people,” he said. “Thank you so much, you’ve done so much for me and I can’t thank you enough.”

Again there were tons of shrieks from his die-hard fans and we totally get it. Even Taylor Swift stood up when he won!

“Thank you to the cast as well, the crew, and Summit Entertainment, but most of all, you guys. Thank you,” he concluded.

It might’ve been a short speech, but it was definitely sweet and fan approved.
