It’s morphin time!
The newest Power Rangers movie is just around the corner, and now we have another look at the killer characters and their suits.
Last week, Lionsgate released one more good look at the upcoming movie, and man does it look great.
The trailer begins with the five kids finding the power coins, and then quickly realizing that they have powers.
Next a voice tells the group that “You five are the Power Rangers,” which is intense and also somewhat eerie.
The only real question any of them has is what kind of heroes they are.
“Are we more like Iron Man or Spider-Man?” Billy the Blue Ranger asks.
Throughout the rest of the teaser we see that these five kids, have to stick together and face a LOT of evil.
Basically, they have to save the world while being in high school, which isn’t too hard, right? Wrong!
Elizabeth Banks makes an appearance as the villain, Rita Repulsa, and she is terrifying. “Five little rangers… how cute,” she says before attacking with force.
There are also a LOT of fight scenes, clips of the Ranger’s shiny, metallic suits, and of course their Zords.
Ahead of its March release, Lionsgate also released new press notes for the film as well as an international movie poster this week.
According to the press notes via ComicBookMovie, this movie will be about 124 minutes, which is way more time than we’ve ever had with the epic Power Ranger characters.
The new film, which is based on the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers TV series, will be much bigger and more badass than the two films that have already come before it.
Based on the new poster, which was featured on the movie’s German Facebook page, the Rangers are up for the challenge.
It shows the teenagers standing strong and ready to fight. You can see Dacre Montgomery (Jason the Red Ranger), Naomi Scott (Kimberly the Pink Ranger), RJ Cyler (Billy the Blue Ranger), Ludi Lin (Zack the Black Ranger) and Becky Gomez (Trini the Yellow Ranger) sporting their fancy suits, and it is making us SO pumped for the movie.
Plus, their Dinozards are all taking their battle positions in the background and it’s pretty darn cool.
Power Rangers hits theaters on March 24, 2017.
