After Tuesday’s episode of The Flash, we instantly wanted more, and now we have a look at next week’s story — thank goodness.
On Tuesday night, The CW released an extended promo for its upcoming episode, “Untouchable,” and it’s a good one. Well, it’s good in the sense that it has a lot of action and suspense. It’s also bad because one of our favorite characters gets very hurt.
According to the promo, we’ll finally get to see Barry (Grant Gustin) and Wally (Keiynan Lonsdale) meshing start as the super fast Flash duo in the episode — but there is a dark side to next week as well.
The trailer reveals that when a meta-human named Clive Yorkin comes to town, things aren’t going to be so easy to fix. In fact, he has the ability to turn anything he touches into ash, which is SO scary.
As Barry, aka The Flash, is training Wally, aka Kid Flash, the laughs are in high supply, which is nice to see. Sadly, things take a more serious turn when Wally isn’t able to protect Iris (Candice Patton).
Yep, Clive comes after the team and Iris is the one caught in the cross hairs, because Wally isn’t fast enough to stop him. Based on the trailer, all we know is that she gets touched by the villain and is then seen in the hospital with a nasty, black, vein mark on her arm.
It’s not good, but at least it’s less than a week until we see what happens live!
The Flash airs Tuesdays on The CW at 8 p.m.
