Outlander fans just proved that the power of voting pays off! The hit Starz series won a whopping four awards at People’s Choice Awards 2017.

In addition to beating out The Big Bang Theory, Grey’s Anatomy, Stranger Things, and The Walking Dead for the title of Favorite TV Show, Outlander’s lead actors also walked away with some pretty awesome awards on the big night.

Both Caitriona Balfe (Claire Fraser) and Sam Heughan (Jamie Fraiser) were crowned this year’s Favorite Sci-Fi/Fantasy TV Actress and Favorite Sci-Fi/Fantasy TV Actor, respectively. Just for good measure, the show also won the Favorite Premium Sci-Fi/Fantasy Series category.

Unfortunately, Balfe and Heughan weren’t able to attend the awards, but they did take a few moments away from working on the next season of Outlander to thank the fans for all their support!

“We wish we were there— we’re here busy filming, that’s why we couldn’t make it, but we definitely have the best fans and they must have the sorest thumbs, I think,” joked Balfe.

“Our fans have got probably no thumbs left,” added Heughan. “Thank you all and I hope you have a really fun evening,”

Additionally, Balfe and Heughan also announced that they’re in the process of planning out a time to participate in a Facebook Q&A so that they can thank the fans properly for all their support in helping them score three People’s Choice Awards. The Q&A is tentatively set for Thursday night, but Balfe also suggests following Starz on Facebook so you can be sure to get notified of the exact time.

Congratulations to Caitriona Balfe, Sam Heughan, and the entire Outlander cast on their multiple wins at People’s Choice Awards 2017!
