Henry Cavill just proved that he is literally all of us when we don’t get our fix of caffeine in the morning!
The Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice star recently took to Instagram where he shared a pretty awesome throwback still from his time on the set of the film.
The photo features Cavill barreling through a a rundown building toward a crew of cameramen that look as though they’re running away as they try to get the action shot. In fact, the scene looks so intense that the Superman star felt the need to give it it’s own warning label.
“Remembering a time while shooting BvS and they told me I wasn’t allowed my usual Salted Caramel Mochaccino with skinny coconut milk and whip,” joked Cavill in the caption. The actor then followed the cautionary tale with the hashtags, #NoMercy, #NoExcuses, #Superman.
Though Cavill was clearly having some fun with the caption, we can’t help but relate to his depiction of how he feels when he doesn’t have his morning cup of joe!
If anything, his latest Instagram post has got us even more excited for the possibility of what he might share once he’s back on set in full Superman regalia.
While there’s no set release date for the follow up to 2013’s Man of Steel, we do know there’s a sequel coming. In fact, Amy Adams, who plays Lois Lane in the films, confirmed back in November in an interview with HeyU Guys that she’s aware that “they’re working on a script.”
We’re definitely looking forward to seeing what Warner Bros. and DC come up with regards to the next chapter in Superman’s solo journey, but until then, we’ll have to settle for getting our fix of Henry Cavill as the Man of Steel in Justice League.
Also starring Ben Affleck, Gal Gadotl, Ezra Miller, and Jason Momoa, Justice League lands in theaters on Nov. 17, 2017.
