It looks like J.K. Rowling is busy putting pen to paper again! The author recently revealed via Twitter that she’s in the process of working on a new book.

Rowling let fans in on the fact that she’s busy writing after a fan asked, “When do we get a new novel? I happen to love the magic of your words.”

“I’m working on it (literally),” replied Rowling. “And thank you”

Naturally, fans began wondering what Rowling could possibly be working on, but if you were hoping she might be penning an actual novel featuring Newt Scamander, you’re out of luck.

When another fan jumped the gun and guessed that Rowling’s tweet about working on her next book meant she was working on a proper novel detailing the adventures of the famed magizoologist, the author took to Twitter yet again to set the record straight.

“No, no, no. There won’t be Newt Scamander novels,” tweeted Rowling. “Only movies. Calm down, there!”

So what’s Rowling working on exactly? The author wouldn’t flat out say, but she did offer one tiny clue to keep us all guessing! When another fan asked if she was working on “a book by Rowling or a book by Galbraith,” Rowling revealed that she’s working on both!

“One of each, but I”m not sure which will come out first,” tweeted the author. “I’ll let you know as soon as I do!”

So we’re getting two books by Rowling? Even better!

We’re definitely excited to hear that J.K. Rowling is focusing on her writing again and can’t wait to get our hands on whatever book she chooses to put out next!
