We are all still preparing ourselves for the end of Pretty Little Liars, but the cast had to face it much sooner.

After finishing filming the final season of the Freeform series this fall, most of the cast shared their love for one another on social media, but how do they feel now that it’s really over?

Troian Bellisario, who plays Spencer Hastings on the drama, revealed to AOL that she really had no idea how emotional the goodbyes would be. In fact, she says it hasn’t really sunk in yet that she’s done.

When asked what the most surprising part about your personal reaction was to PLL ending, Bellisario didn’t hold back.

“Probably that I didn’t realize how emotional I would be, you know?” Bellisario told AOL. “Seven years creep up on you. It’s very true that there are so few things in my life that have lasted for seven years — high school and college don’t even last that long.”

The Pretty Little Liars cast and crew were like family, so it wasn’t as easy to leave the lot that final time, at least for the 31-year-old actress.

“So, to have this experience with these people, you think in your mind that you’re going to be so stoked go get out of there and try something new, and then when it actually comes time to say goodbye, it hits you like a ton of bricks,” she added.

Luckily for fans, there are still new episodes coming in 2017. Here’s hoping they aren’t hit like a ton of bricks when PLL is off the air.

Pretty Little Liars returns to Freeform on April 18, 2017.
