This Is Us doesn’t return until January 10, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t some good news to get you ready for its return.
The series’ stars revealed in a new interview with E! News that the midseason premiere will pick up where it left off, which is very exciting news indeed.
The cast kept pretty much everything else under wraps while speaking to the publication, but Mandy Moore did reveal one thing about where her character, Rebecca, and husband, Jack (Milo Ventimiglia), will be come the New Year.
“We’re going back in time and it’s when we find out that we’re having triplets, and we’re not just having one baby, so chaos ensues from there, obviously,” Moore told E! News. “Our whole world is sort of flipped on its head.”
We love a good flashback moment, so despite the fact that this isn’t really telling, we will take any information the cast will give us! We’re also sure there will be some crying on our part and on the characters’ parts when they find out they are having triplets, so grab those tissues.
In other This Is Us news, the show and some of its cast members were nominated for Golden Globe Awards on Monday, so fans can focus on that while we wait for the series to return.
Moore and Chrissy Metz, who plays Kate on the show, were both nominated for Best Supporting Performance in a Series, Miniseries, or Television Film. Sterling K. Brown on the other hand, who plays Randall, got a nod for Best Supporting Actor for his role on The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story.
Plus the show was nominated for Best Drama Series and we are really happy about it.
This Is Us returns to NBC on Tuesday, January 10, 2017.
