‘Stranger Things’ Kids Have The Sweetest Reaction To The Show’s Golden Globe Nomination

Nominees for the 2017 Golden Globes have officially been announced and nobody had a better reaction to scoring a nod this year than the kids of Stranger Things.

Netflix’s hit sci-fi series earned a nomination in the coveted Best Television Series, Drama category and actors Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas), Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin), Finn Wolfhard (Mike), and Noah Schnapps (Wiill Byers) just couldn’t hold in their excitement when they found out.

The boys were all together when the nominees were announced early Monday (Dec. 12) morning and thanks to the official Stranger Things Twitter account, you can watch their their instant reaction in the form of a short video.

The clip features all four boys seated on a couch, waiting with baited breath to see if they’ll be nominated for best TV drama. When Stranger Things is finally announced at the end of the nominees, the boys jump out of their seat and cheer in victory.

In addition to scoring a nod in the Best Television Series, Drama category, fellow Stranger Things star Winona Ryder was also among this year’s nominees. The actress earned a nomination in the Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series, Drama category for her portrayal of Joyce Byers.

Congratulations to the Stranger Things cast for their nominations— we’ll be tuning into the ceremony to see if they take home the coveted trophies in both categories!

Hosted by Jimmy Fallon, the 2017 Golden Globe Awards are set to take place on January 8.
