There is a Nintendo-themed land coming to Universal Studios Hollywood and we can’t wait to go!

For all you gamers out there, this is very exciting news, since there will be brand-new areas dedicated to the video game experience coming to the Hollywood, Orlando and Japan Universal theme parks over the next few years, according to an announcement from Universal Parks and Resorts on Tuesday.

According to the Universal blog, the new lands will make visitors feel as if they’re inside a game.

The new areas “will be expansive, immersive and interactive. They’ll be highly themed and authentic environments filled with multiple attractions, shops and restaurants. You’ll feel as if you’re playing inside your favorite games — in real life,” Universal states via the blog.

Universal also revealed that the planning and creative work stations are “well underway,” but they have yet to tell us when these Nintendo lands will be unveiled.

Until then you can just use your imagination to decide which characters from the iconic Nintendo world should make an appearance and maybe even think up what kind of rides there will be!

Are you ready for a Nintendo area at Universal parks? What do you want to see in them?
