You’re not totally buggin’— one of your favorite stars from Clueless is coming to television!
TVLand has officially greenlit the new’70s-set series, American Woman, which will star Cher Horowitz herself, Alicia Silverstone.
According to TV Line, the network has ordered 12 episodes of the upcoming dramedy inspired by the life of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reality television star, Kyle Richards.
For her part, Silverstone plays an unconventional mother having a tough time raising two daughters after she decides to leave her husband. Lucky for her, she’ll have a bit of help along the way in the form of her two best friends, Kathleen (Mena Suvari) and Diana (Jennifer Bartels).
Over the years, Silverstone has kept busy landing memorable roles in films like Batman & Robin, Blast From The Past and more, but we’re definitely looking forward to getting to see her back on our television screens.
It’s safe to say Alicia Silverstone effectively conquered the ’90s, so we’re excited to see her tackle a whole different decade when American Woman officially premieres on TV Land!
