It’s official. John Mayer is dropping new music this month!

With a simple pic of pink and yellow cover art, Mayer announced his new music titled Love on the Weekend today (Nov. 10) via Instagram.

It’s still unclear if Love on the Weekend will be a single or entire project, but the new work does have a release date this month: November 17th. That’s right, this time next week, we’re getting the first taste of new Mayer material since 2014.

The 39-year-old guitar prodegy’s last album was Paradise Valley in 2013, featuring songs like “Paper Doll” and “Who You Love.” The following year in 2014, Mayer gave Beyonce’s “XO” for an acoustic remix for his Soundcloud. Other than that, it’s been radio silence for the Connecticut-hailing crooner. In March 2015, Mayer told MSNBC in a sit-down interview that he was working on a “deeply personal” new album. Now it seems he’s finally ready to share his stuff that’s been more than a year in the making.

In addition to posting the cover art, Mayer shared a snippet of a new guitar riff on his Instagram story with the caption “Shhh.” Sorry, John, a good thing can’t be kept quiet for long!
