Dylan O’Brien is officially back on Twitter!
The Teen Wolf star gave his fans a treat this week after tweeting for the first time since March, and it’s all thanks to his favorite baseball team. On Wednesday, the 25-year-old actor posted a short but sweet message celebrating the New York Mets.
“LGM baby,” O’Brien tweeted before the team’s wildcard game against the San Francisco Giants on Wednesday night. “LGM” stands for, “Let’s Go Mets.”
O’Brien usually sticks to tweets about Teen Wolf, his movies, including The Maze Runner series, and his beloved New York Mets, so his latest tweet isn’t that big of a surprise. It was, however, shocking for fans to see his presence online, because he’s been MIA since his on-set accident back in early March.
The young actor was injured on March 18 while filming Maze Runner: The Death Cure in Vancouver, Canada and after the accident he took time off from just about everything, including social media.
Maze Runner production was delayed as a result of O’Brien being sent to the hospital, after reportedly falling off his motorcycle during a scene and sustaining a concussion and other injuries.
Even though we haven’t really seen O’Brien out and about yet, his tweet makes us hopeful that he’s healed nicely and is ready to get back to work, especially since the final season of Teen Wolf just began filming this week.
