Frequency doesn’t premiere on The CW until tonight, but that hasn’t stopped the cast of the sci-fi drama from thinking about potential crossovers.

When we caught up with stars Daniel Bonjour, Devin Kelley, and Lenny Jacobson earlier this summer at the CBS/CW/Showtime TCA Party, we asked which show they’d most like to appear on and their answer was none other than Dawson’s Creek.

The idea of teaming up with an old old WB teen drama may seem near impossible, but given that Frequency tells the story of a NYPD detective living in the present who suddenly realizes she can communicate with her father in 1996 using an old ham radio, it may not be completely out of the question.

Of course, if a crossover isn’t possible, the cast also told People’s Choice that they’d be down to remake the series. They even designated roles for themselves.

“[Jacobson] can be Dawson, [Bonjour] can be Pacey, and I’ll be Joey,” said Kelley. “My high school self is dying right now.”

Though Jacobsen said he'd be down for a reboot, Bonjour revealed that he envisions their proposed Dawson’s Creek endeavor as more of a continuation.

“It’ll be Dawson’s Creek meets The Office [becuase] we’re all older now,” added Bonjour of the proposed reboot.

As much fun as it would be to catch Bonjour, Kelley, and Jacobson portraying their favorite Dawson’s Creek characters, we’re even more excited to check them out on Frequency when the series makes its grand debut!

Frequency premieres Wed. Oct. 5 at 9 p.m. on The CW
