Good news for Batman fans who absolutely loved Anne Hathaway’s portrayal of Catwoman! It turns out, the actress wouldn’t be opposed to reprising her role as one of the caped crusader’s most notorious foes.

In a new interview with Variety, Hathaway opened up about how much fun it was to step into the world of Gotham city and portray the infamous, sharp-clawed baddie.

“I loved that character and I had such a blast playing her,” said Hathaway. “I’m not sure how it would work because I think the Chris Nolan chapter of the Batman story has been wrapped up and I’m part of that, but I love the DC Universe and it would be fun to take a trip back.”

Regardless of whether or not she ever returns to reprise her role, Hathaway can proudly say she joins a list of wonderful actresses that have portrayed Catwoman in the past. Meanwhile, fans of Batman have another Big Bad to look forward to when Ben Affleck’s stand alone film eventually hits theaters.

Last week, we received confirmation that True Blood star Joe Manganiello has officially signed on to portray Deathstroke in the films and we couldn’t be more excited to see him and Affleck face off on the big screen.

The jury’s still out as to whether we could see a flash of Deathstroke in the upcoming Justice League movie. Either way, we’ll be looking forward to seeing what Manganiello brings to the table now that he’s joined the DC cinematic universe.
