Mandy Moore can appreciate all the excitement surrounding Netflix’s upcoming Gilmore Girls revival, but it turns out the actress has never actually seen the show!

“I have never seen it before,” Moore told People’s Choice when we caught up with the actress at the premiere for This Is Us at PaleyFest.

Moore, who stars opposite Gilmore Girls alum Milo Ventimiglia in This Is Us says she tries to play off the fact that she’s never seen an episode of Amy Sherman-Palladino’s beloved series whenever she and Ventimiglia get asked questions about it during interviews.

“People like, ask me questions or ask him questions and they’re so excited about it and I’m like, ‘Oh, yeah, yeah.’ but I have no idea,” continued the actress.

Though Moore may have missed out on Gilmore Girls the first time around, the actress revealed that she might finally be hunkering down to watch the show  — especially considering she’s currently working with Ventimiglia on This Is Us and previously starred opposite Lauren Graham in the 2007 rom-com, Because I Said So.

“Maybe I have to do like a quick catch up because I worked with Lauren Graham and I love her,” said Moore. “I feel like I want to support her and support [Milo Ventimiglia].”

We definitely hope she reports back if she does end up watching the series!
