David Henrie’s most recent throwback photo is giving us all the feels! The 27-year-old actor got in on the Emmys action last week by posting an Emmy-related photo of the Wizards of Waverly Place cast and it’s wonderful.

Henrie, who played the oldest Russo child, Justin, on the Disney Channel series, honored his former cast mates and their 2009 Creative Arts Emmy win on his Instagram account the Thursday (Sept. 15) before the 68th Primetime Emmy Awards.

“TBT to that time we had that nerve racking day at the Emmys… THAT PAID OFF!” Henrie captioned the adorable pic before tagging his fellow co-stars, Selena Gomez (who played Alex), Jake T. Austin (who played Max), Maria Canals-Barrera (who played mom Theresa), David DeLuise (who played dad Jerry), and Jennifer Stone (who played Alex’s BFF Harper).

The cast walked away with the an Emmy for Outstanding Children’s Program both in 2009 and 2012.

“#familyForever #wizardsofwaverlyplace we all miss it🙂,” added Henrie on his caption.

We miss it too, especially all the wild adventures the Russo siblings got into!

This isn’t the first time however that Henrie has posted a Wizards throwback photo. In fact, the California native frequently posts pics from the glory days when the Russo wizards were our favorite thing to watch on TV and any run-ins he has with the rest of his TV family. The most recent family bonding moment was when Henrie saw his TV dad, DeLuise, at a Barnes and Nobles in July.

Now all we need is a real-life, full-cast reunion, with full photographic documentation of course, or even better, a Wizards reunion special or new movie! Wouldn’t that be amazing? Fingers crossed Disney sees this cute Emmys pic and picks up on the idea of a reunion, so we can all have magic back in our lives… in the form of Russo TV adventure.
