Could the official iCarly reunion of our dreams actually be coming true? If the new photo posted by showrunner Dan Schneider is anything to go by, it’s very possible!

The creator behind Nickelodeon’s popular comedy recently sent iCarly fans into a frenzy when he took to his Facebook on Thursday (Sept. 15) to post a photo that features some people that bear a striking resemblance to Carly (Miranda Cosgrove), Sam (Jennette McCurdy) and Spencer (Jerry Trainor).

“Pic taken today…” wrote Schneider in the caption.

The photo features the three individuals, plus a camera man, who fans will recognize as Freddie aka Nathan Kress, walking down a purple hallway and entering a door to the left. Despite the resemblance to some of our favorite iCarly characters, it should be noted that all of the actors (with the exception of Kress) have their backs turned to us.

The fact that we can’t see any of the other actors’ faces has got us wondering if perhaps Schneider is pulling a fast one on us, but that could also be because we don’t want to get our hopes up! Of course, there’s also a chance that the image is actually a sneak peek at season 2 of Schneider’s current series, Game Shakers, which Kress has previously directed.

The good news is, even if this photo doesn’t mean what we think it does, the cast is both willing and ready to reunite if and when the time is right.

When we caught up with series star Miranda Cosgrove last November at the 2015 CBS Upfronts, the actress revealed that she’d be interested in reuniting with her former co-stars.

“I mean, I had a great time working on the show and I did for a long time,” Cosgrove told People’s Choice. “I feel like the cast members are like family.”

We guess we’ll just have to wait and see if Schneider has in fact pulled off the iCarly reunion we’ve all been hoping for since the series wrapped back in 2012!
