7 Fall Movies You Should Be Really Excited About

Jump to Comment (1)

Now that the sun is finally setting on a blazing Summer Sixteen, it’s time to get back-to-business with fall. But that doesn’t mean the fun has to stop. Hollywood still has plenty of potential blockbusters in store to round out the rest of the year. In the next few months, expect to see a slew of franchise continuations, novel adaptations and childhood classics reimagined.

Anyone who loves the Jack Reacher series will be happy to see Tom Cruise on screen — and likely on the run — once again this September. The first time fans were introduced to Cruise’s Reacher was in 2012 , so the follow-up has been 4 years in the making.

On the kid’s movies side of things, Dreamworks Pictures Trolls is primed to sparkle and sing its way into cinemas in early November. Boasting stars like Justin Timberlake, Anna Kendrick, Zooey Deschanel, James Corden and Gwen Stefani, Trolls has already enjoyed tremendous pre-show promo thanks to JT’s hit single “Can’t Stop The Feeling” off the movie’s soundtrack.

As far as highly anticipated movies go, few are as awaited as Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them. The Harry Potter prequel hits theaters in late November and stars Oscar-winner Eddie Redmayne Newt Scamander, a magizoologist who loses some of his magical creatures in the bustle of 1920s New York City.
