Through the power of the internet, you’re about to get your first look at the second season of Scream Queens!
Premiering in just under three weeks, the sophomore season of Ryan Murphy’s comedy horror series finds the ladies of Kappa Kappa Tau out of the sorority house and into the infirmary as the girls enroll as medical students in Cathy Munsch’s aka Jamie Lee Curtis’ hospital.
“I love that it’s a little bit darker,” Emma Roberts says about season two. “The hospital setting gives it kind of a more eerie vibe.”
Two new cast members who will help add to the eerie aesthetic are John Stamos and Taylor Lautner, who portray Dr. Brock Holt and Dr. Cassidy Cascade, respectively. In the below clip, Lautner says fans are in for a “funnier and scarier” second season.
“If you like the first season, you’re gonna love the second,” the former Twilight star promises.
Along with a few quick peaks of the new docs on the block, the latest preview of the upcoming season includes Lea Michele, who channeled Hannibal Lecter in a previous Scream Queens teaser, expressing her unabashed affection for the series.
“I fell in love with Scream Queens so much during our filming,” Michele says. “People were kinda dropping like flies and all of a sudden I was like, ‘I don’t wanna go! I’m having the best time of my life.'”
The second season of Scream Queens premieres Tuesday, September 20 at 9/8c on Fox.
