Actress Christina Vidal is gearing up to kick some serious butt in CBS’ upcoming Training Day reboot, but those of us who grew up on Nickelodeon still remember her for playing a teenager with big dreams in Taina.

The series ran from 2000 to 2002, but ended before fans got to see Taina’s (Vidal) dreams of becoming an actress/singer actually materialize.  Now, it seems, that could change.

When we caught up with Vidal at the CBS TCA Party earlier this month, the actress revealed that she would love to get back into Taina’s world, and she’s not the only one who’s interested in revisiting the series!

“The executive producer was thinking about doing some type of maybe like a film, like, 'Where’s Taina now?'” revealed Vidal.

The actress even has her own ideas as far as what the talented teen could be up to now that she’s reached adulthood.

“She could be a star on Broadway or something,” said Taina. “So, that’s in the talks, but I don’t know if [the producers are] serious about it.”

We’d totally be down for a Taina movie, but until that comes to fruition, we’ll settle for checking out Christina Vidal in Training Day!

Inspired by the Oscar-winning movie of the same name, Training Day follows a police officer who goes undercover through the LAPD where he’s tasked with spying on his partner.
