Get ready to sink your teeth into Bella Thorne’s latest project!

Deadline reports that that the former star of Disney Channel’s Shake It Up is set to co-executive produce Lifetime’s upcoming vampire drama, Drink, Slay, Love.

The film, which is based off of the book of the same name by Sarah Beth Durst will star The Fosters actress Cierra Ramirez as the main character, Pearl.

Pearl is described as a 16-year-old vampire who suddenly discovers she can go out in the daylight after a mysterious attack gets rid of her pesky sun allergy. Thrilled by her newfound powers, Pearl’s family is quick to send the teen to high school under the guise of posing as a normal student when in fact, Pearl’s task is to lure kids back to her house to be used at an upcoming feast set to honor the Vampire King.

Drink, Slay, Love marks Thorne’s third go-around serving as executive producer on a project. Previously, the actress produced and starred in this year’s drama, Shovel Buddies, and the upcoming thriller, You Get Me.

We love that Bella Thorne is getting more involved in the behind-the-scenes aspects of film making and we’re excited to tune in to Drink, Slay, Love when it premieres early next year!

Also starring Faking It’s Gregg Sulkin, iZombies Zach Peladeau, Heart of Dixie’s McKaley Miller, and American Crime’s Angelique Rivera, Drink, Slay, Love is expected to air on Lifetime in 2017.
