Get ready to welcome Katherine Heigl back to television! The brand-new trailer for Heigl’s upcoming CBS pilot is here, and there’s no Doubt in our minds that you’re going to want to check it out!

In Doubt, Katherine Heigl plays a lawyer with a rebellious streak working at a boutique law firm in the Big Apple. It’s clear from the get-go that Heigl’s Sadie Ellis is going to have her work cut out for her in court as she takes on a murder case fighting for the man who may or may not have senselessly killed a woman 24 years ago.

“I fight cuz most people don’t, or won’t,” says Sadie at one point despite the fact that there’s reasonable doubt against her client, Billy (Steven Pasquale).

Sadie may be passionate about the case, but things get even more complicated when the trailer reveals that she’s not just Billy’s lawyer.

“Do I need to take you off Billy Brandt’s case? You’re falling for him,” says Ellis’ mentor, Isaiah (Elliott Gould). “Whatever’s going on between you two, just end it.”

If the trailer is anything to go by, it looks like ending things is going to be easier said than done in Sadie’s case.

Created by Grey’s Anatomy producers Tony Phelan and Joan Rater, the upcoming drama also stars Laverne Cox, Dule Hill, Kobi Libii, Dreama Walker, and Lauren Blumefeld.

Doubt is set to premiere in 2017 on CBS
