American Horror Story continues to confound its viewers before next month’s season premiere.

Ryan Murphy’s popular horror anthology series released another set of ambiguous teasers for the forthcoming sixth season. For the first time since the series began, we have no official theme for season six. While the fourth season was titled Freak Show followed by last season’s Hotel, the four newest trailers titled Wind Chimes, The Shadow, The Mist, and the peculiarly worded Camp Sight — are quite the enigmas.

We could attempt to decipher what each teaser means for the upcoming season, but according to FX CEO John Landgraf, that may be a fool’s errand. Landgraf recently admitted that many of these teasers are misdirects to keep the plot of the new season a secret.

“Every year, we’ve basically laid out the themes, the new genre that [Ryan Murphy’s] going to be approaching, and we just thought [this year] it’d be really fun to keep it a mystery. So, we are,” Landgraf said during this year’s Television Critics Association semi-annual press tour.

So what does it all mean? See if you can find a link between alien abductions, tooth-filled wind chimes, and more by watching all four mysterious teasers below.
