The big screen’s Ezra Miller or the small screen’s Grant Gustin: Who exactly is the fastest Flash?
Ezra Miller sped onto the superhero scene with brief cameos in Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad. Before we see an extended appearance from Miller in the upcoming Justice League movie and his own solo Flash film, MTV News asked the actor his thoughts about The CW’s Flash, Grant Gustin.
While the two Scarlet Speedsters have yet to meet, Miller appears eager to race The CW star.
“He’s a boss,” Miller told MTV News about Gustin. “I can’t wait to see him, eye to eye, adrift in the Speed Force — our eyes will lock and, in that moment, we will both know the truth. What truth? I dare not say.”
Some fans were shocked when Warner Bros. decided to keep the DC movie and TV universes separate by not casting the already established Gustin as the “Fastest Man Alive.” Last month, Grant shared his thoughts about not being asked to play The Flash on the big screen.
“You’re about to have 2 different takes on Barry Allen, played by 2 different actors that I think are equally thrilled to have the chance,” Gustin tweeted.
The third season of The Flash premieres October 4 on The CW.
