Jon and Sansa may have teamed up to take back Winterfell, but is their bond as brother and sister as strong as it seems to be?
Variety was in attendance during Game of Thrones’ annual appearance in Hall H at San Diego Comic-Con where actress Sophie Turner teased that Sansa may not be so keen on the idea of Jon being crowned King of the North.
“I don’t think she believes Jon is capable of running Winterfell and the north; she doesn’t think he has the intellect, the knowledge, the experience that she has, and I concur,” said Turner at the panel as reported by Variety.
Though Turner said Sansa may not think Jon is cut out to lead the only home they’ve ever known, she also added that Jon’s wonderful “Stark morals” may be the key that allows him to succeed.
“Inevitably he’ll make the good decision, but whether it’s going to benefit anyone is another story,” added Turner.
Turner’s insight into Sansa has got us wondering what Jon Snow’s new title as ruler of Winterfell will do to their newfound relationship as brother and sister. We’re definitely looking forward to seeing how their storyline plays out when Game of Thrones picks back up again next year.
Game of Thrones returns to HBO in the summer of 2017.
