Sorry, Michael Scofield. According to Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, the most iconic prison escape won’t be found on Fox’s upcoming Prison Break reboot; it will be courtesy of Hobbs in Fast 8.

The social media savvy star has been heightening excitement for the next Fast film by sharing behind-the-scenes photos and videos of his character with his 61.4 million Instagram followers. Johnson has revealed through multiple social media posts that Fast 8 will feature Hobbs in an unfamiliar position: behind bars.

Not exactly known for his patience, Hobbs won’t be taking his little prison sabbatical lightly as Johnson said that the film’s goal was to give fans an “iconic prison breakout.”

“When our Fast & Furious writer Chris Morgan said to me months ago, ‘How insane would it be if in Fast8, Hobbs was sentenced to the most hard core maximum security prison in the world!?’ To which I responded, ‘How even more insane and FUN FOR THE FANS would it be if Hobbs said… I’m gettin’ out… try and stop me,'” The Rock wrote on Instagram.

Johnson has posted photos of Hobbs battling fellow prisoners as well as a preview pic of a showdown with prison guards in full riot gear. But one question still remains: Where is Vin Diesel’s Dominic Toretto during all of this? Will he be assisting Hobbs in his escape? We’ll find out when Fast 8 arrives in theaters on April 14, 2017.
