“I think the Battle of the Bastards episode from last season was cinematic TV at its finest,” said Bradley.
On the subject of favorites, Bradley also revealed that he absolutely loved getting to shoot a scene with Stephen Dillane, who portrays Stannis.
“[He] isn’t just one of my favorites on the shows, he’s just one of my favorite actors period.” explained Bradley. “That day was a privilege and an education.”
Though working with Dillane may have been a highlight, Bradley stressed that the entire Game of Thrones cast genuinely has a lot of love for each other.
“I think that we’ve spoiled each other when it comes to establishing close personal relationship as well as working ones,” said Bradley after a fan asked whether the cast is actually keeps in touch with each other. “We think we’re gonna get on with everybody in our careers as much as we get on with each other. I think we all know how lucky we are.”
With Game of Thrones set to wrap up in just two seasons, Bradley is very much looking ahead to the future. When one fan asked what his dream role would be, Bradley expressed interest in getting involved in the DC comic universe.
The actor confessed that his dream role would be playing none other than Batman’s arch nemesis, The Penguin.
“I think it’d be so interesting to try and do a psychologically valid Penguin,” revealed Bradley. “He lives so much in the comic book world, it would be nice to try and find a way to give him some credibility and justification and make him a presence in the real world.”
We really hope Bradley’s dream of bringing The Penguin to life comes true— we’d love to see what he could do with a role like that!
