With Netflix’s upcoming Degrassi: Next Generation reunion generating all the buzz lately, you may have missed another Degrassi get together that went down recently.
Earlier this month, former Degrassi castmates Nina Dobrev and Miriam McDonald reunited and snapped some fun pictures at the park and at dinner.
Dobrev, 27, and McDonald, 29, both started their acting careers on Canada’s young adult soap opera, Degrassi: The Next Generation. Miriam played Emma Nelson, a goody-two-shoes principal character dealing with the pitfalls of junior high. Fans watched Emma grow up throughout nine seasons, from 2001 to 2010. Meanwhile, Dobrev joined the cast in 2006 as Mia Jones, a teen mother who transferred to Degrassi from Lakehurst High and has a budding modeling career.

For those who can’t get enough Degrassi, Miriam will be joining a number of Next Generation cast members — including Adamo Ruggiero, Lauren Collins, Jake Epstein, and Shane Kippel — as they reprise their roles to celebrate the 500th episode of the drama.
The original Degrassi: The Next Generation cast reunion starts Friday, July 22 on Netflix.
