Texas forever? Former Friday Night Lights star Michael B. Jordan hopes so!

Jordan, who memorably portrayed QB1 Vince Howard on the series, may have moved on to become a box office heavyweight, but before the actor was starring in superhero films and imbuing new life into well-known movie franchises, he was a television standout with memorable roles on The Wire, Parenthood, and the aforementioned Friday Night Lights.

While some of Jordan’s former FNL castmates may be hesitant to do a reunion, the Creed star recently told E! News’ Marc Malkin that he thinks a Friday Night Lights reunion would be “pretty cool.”

“I hope. It just has be the right way,” Jordan told E! News. “It’ll be cool to get together with the Dillon Panthers and the East Dillon Lions and just kind of see that. That’ll be pretty cool.”

Pretty cool may be an understatement. Peter Berg’s critically acclaimed football drama, which aired its series finale back in 2011, not only featured one of the most beloved television couples of all time, Kyle Chandler and Connie Britton’s #marriagegoals inducing Mr. and Mrs. Taylor, but it also helped launch countless careers, including Taylor Kitsch, Jesse Plemons, Scott Porter, and Minka Kelly.

So where does Jordan think Vince would be today?

“Vince is probably coaching,” Jordan continued. “Maybe Vince went pro. Vince was pretty good. Let’s say Vince went pro, got his mom the house, took care of his mom the way he wanted to. Dad kinda kind of came back around, you know what I’m saying? Got his family together… Maybe plays a couple years and just decides not to get hurt and just decides to coach and try to pass on that knowledge to the next generation. That’ll be kind of cool to see.”

Clear eyes, full hearts… you can’t lose with a Friday Night Lights reunion!

What do you think, y’all? Would you like to see a Friday Night Lights reunion?
