Heads up, Harry Styles fans — it looks like the One Direction singer could be portraying a very famous frontman on the big screen!

Metro UK reports that Styles is currently in talks to play none other than legendary rocker, Mick Jagger in an upcoming biopic about the Rolling Stones. The film would be based off the events detailed in the book, Exile on Main Street: A Season in Hell with the Rolling Stones, which was written by Robert Greenfield.

Deadline revealed earlier this month that Downton Abbey director, Andy Goddard, would be helming the biopic which tells the story of the summer the band spent recording the album Exile on Main St.

The Rolling Stones released the album in 1972 when Jagger was just about 30-years-old. Styles, who is 22, is a bit younger than Jagger was when he recorded the album. Even so, given his uncanny resemblance to the rock star, we can understand why he’s at the top of the list for the role.

If he signs on to the upcoming Rolling Stones biopic, it’ll mark Styles’ second dive into acting. Earlier this year, reports surfaced that the One Direction member had been offered a role in Christopher Nolan’s upcoming war drama, Dunkirk opposite heavy-hitters like Kenneth Branagh and Tom Hardy.

While Styles’ involvement in Exile on Main Street seems to be up in the air for now, one thing’s for sure: the singer definitely seems to have caught the acting bug!
