With the season finale of Game of Thrones just around the corner, we have our first look at your next potential HBO obsession: Westworld.

Based on the 1973 film of the same name, which was written by author Michael Crichton, the sci-fi odyssey centers on a futuristic theme park, Westworld, that’s populated by artificial beings. While the trailer is filled with compelling snippets of dialogue like “These violent delights have violent ends” and ”Have you ever questioned the nature of your reality?” it also packs a ton of action into 98-seconds with a number of memorizing quick cuts.

The shootouts and carnage found in the teaser are offset by the arresting cinematography of the series, which is reminiscent of Game of Thrones’ Westeros and Essos in terms of its impressive scope.

Prepare to head straight to the wild, wild (artificial?) west with this exhilarating teaser for HBO’s Westworld!

“Are you real?
Well, if you can’t tell, does it matter?”

From executive producers J.J. Abrams and Jonathan Nolan, Westworld stars Anthony Hopkins, Ed Harris, Evan Rachel Wood, and James Marsden.

Westworld premieres on HBO in October of 2016.

What do you think? Do you plan on watching Westworld?
