It seems as though the ladies of Pretty Little Liars are always racing against the clock, but as far as season 7 is concerned, everyone agrees that the stakes are a bit higher.

EW revealed an exclusive preview for the series’ seventh season, in which the cast explains what we can expect going into this new chapter of the show.

One of the first things the cast promised is that we may see Hanna (Ashley Benson) return sooner than we expected. As fans will remember, Hanna went missing at the end of last season, and the last we saw of her, she was knocked out and being dragged away by her captor.

Per the preview, the quest to find Hanna will take center stage in this summer’s season opener.

“In the episode, there’s 24 hours on the clock to find Hannah,” actress Lucy Hale told EW. “There’s actually going to be a timer at the bottom of the screen which increases the anxiety for the audience because you actually feel what the girls are going through.”

Check out what else the cast had to say about season 7 below:

We can’t wait to find out if the girls manage to beat the clock or not when Pretty Little Liars returns!
