Fans may be interested in a solo Quicksilver movie— especially after X-Men: Apocalypse— but actor Evan Peters who plays the mutant in the films has a different idea in mind.

The American Horror Story star recently revealed in an interview with The Wrap that he’d love to see Peter Maximoff team up with none other than Deadpool.

“I would like to see a Deadpool/Quicksilver movie, I think that would be really fun,” said the actor.

Despite the fact that joining forces with the Merc with a Mouth is Peters’ ultimate dream for his character, the actor isn’t ruling out the possibility of a solo film for Quicksilver.

Regardless of whether or not it ever comes to fruition, Peters reminded fans that it would be a while before they’d get to see it even if it was greenlit. According to Peters, filming all those awesome slow-motions scenes are a lot more time consuming than we think.

“It would take three years to shoot, wouldn’t it?” joked the actor. “Yeah I don’t know, I would love to do that.”

We’re totally game for a solo Quicksilver film but for now, we’ll just have to settle for watching our favorite speedster team up with his fellow X-Men!

X-Men: Apocalypse is in theaters now.
