Former Charmed costars Shannen Doherty and Holly Marie Combs had a mini-reunion in a very unexpected place last night.

The former Halliwell sisters were spotted together at the Sydney Opera House in Australia, where they were attending the premiere of Bizet’s Carmen, and the encounter made for a magical moment on the red carpet.

An Instagram photo shared by Opera Australia shows Combs interviewing Doherty on the carpet for MTV Australia. “The stars of Charmed Holly Marie Combs and Shannen Doherty talking with @mtvaustralia on the red carpet!” read the caption.

Airing from 1998 until 2006 on The WB, Charmed starred Doherty, Combs, and Alyssa Milano as the witty, witchy Halliwell sisters. (When Doherty left the show was 2001, Rose McGowan was brought in to to play the youngest of the Halliwell sisters.) The show followed the trio as they lived together in a beautiful San Francisco colonial, discovered their mystical destiny, and fought the powers of evil. Not bad for a family business.

Charmed developed a cult following over the years and the reruns still get love on channels like TNT. As of 2013, CBS, who owns the creative rights to the show, were trying to draft up a script for a reboot. Milano gave fans an update on the potential revival via Twitter earlier this year.

“#Charmed fans! Nothing has been confirmed. CBS is developing a reboot without the original cast. That’s all I know for sure,” Milano wrote back in March. “With all the reunion shows it seems like #charmed would be a great choice since we have the most loyal and best fans ever. But I would imagine until CBS makes a decision on their reboot a true reunion type of show will not be happening due to CBS owning the rights.”

Fingers crossed that The Book of Shadows will have another chapter soon because judging from Shannen and Holly’s encounter, the chemistry is still there.
