Perhaps no show that currently takes up residence in the “gone but not forgotten” graveyard of canceled television programs is mourned more than NBC’s feverishly adored series, Community. The cult sitcom about a ragtag group of dysfunctional yet loveable community college students improbably staved off cancellation time and time again before finally getting axed by NBC after five seasons…

… only to be miraculously resuscitated by Yahoo! for a sixth season!

It’s really quite unbeldeanable.

While many of the original cast members of Dan Harmon’s show have moved on to other projects, the “six seasons and a movie” mantra which in typical Community fashion stemmed from a throwaway joke — continues to endure.

During a recent interview with People’s Choice, former Community star Danny Pudi, who stars in NBC’s upcoming series Powerless, said he would “love to do a Community movie,” which is sure to make Greendale Human Being fans pop (pop) with a certain degree of magnitude.

"Anything's possible," Pudi told us at the NBC Upfronts. ".... I think all of us in the cast are like ready to rock and roll for a movie. Play some more paintball; that would be amazing. So it's just like this: I'm just waiting for someone to say 'Yes, we're ready to go.' So... fingers crossed."

What do you think? Would you love to see the "Six Seasons and a movie" prophecy finally come to fruition with a Community movie?
