Disney’s ‘Mary Poppins’ Sequel Gets A Release Date, FX Picks Up Marvel’s ‘Legions,’ And More

It’s a short week, but it will still seem long without. Celebrate Wednesday with an official Mary Poppins sequel announcement, Legion coming one step closer to your televisions, and a filming start date for the young Han Solo movie.

1. The Mary Poppins sequel that has been long-rumored is confirmed for 2018. Starring Emily Blunt and Lin Manuel-Miranda, the tentative title should definitely be The Poppinsing. [Variety]

2. Spike is naming Julia Roberts the “Women of the Decade”. Do they know it isn’t the end of the decade yet? We’re only halfway through! [Entertainment Weekly]
