When High School Musical 4 premieres, it’ll introduce the world to a whole new set of Wildcats. There’s no question that the next generation of East High students will have some big shoes to fill, and actress Vanessa Hudgens has some advice she hopes they’ll take to heart.
When we caught up with the High School musical alum at the NBC Universal Upfronts in New York City on Monday, Hudgens said the most important part of starring in HSM is to remember to have fun.
“Just have fun.” Hudgens told People’s Choice. “We were kids having fun singing and dancing and it just clicked.”
According to Hudgens, having a good time is the key because your viewers will feed off of the energy and have a great time, too.
“I feel like if [the new cast] have fun, the audience will be able to enjoy it as well,” said the Grease Live! actress.
Though Hudgens has left her High School Musical days behind her, fans of the actress can look forward to seeing her back on their television screens very soon.
The actress is set to star in NBC’s Powerless. The new fall series is part of the DC Comics Universe, but don’t expect Hudgens to be wielding any super powers. Instead, the series will focus on showcasing how an insurance company deals with the destruction left in the wake of various DC superheroes saving the day.
