From Captain America himself to Iron Man, Black Widow, Spider-Man and more co-horts, Captain America: Civil War has no shortage of superhero appearances. But may fans may not know that the film also includes a subtle nod to one of the most beloved underdog heroes of our time: Arrested Development’s Michael Bluth.

As some super observant movie buffs noticed, the mobilized stairwell that was a common mode of everyday transportation for Michael Bluth during the show’s four seasons is featured in the film. But what’s the connection between the FOX show about the dysfunctional Bluth family and crime-fighting superheroes?

The film’s directors, Joe and Anthony Russo actually directed several Arrested Development episodes back in the day, so it makes sense that they’d sneak in the Bluth-mobile during the superhero showdown at the airport’s tarmac. Did you see it?

A few movie-goers caught the prop and made the connection, but it was definitely a blink-and-you-miss-it type of moment, especially with all the action going down.

To date, Captain America: Civil War has surpassed the $950 million mark in box office sales, pulling in $300 million in the U.S. alone. These huge numbers can be attributed to the all star cast of characters, the fact that there’s really no competition in the action flick realm right now or the idea that people are movie-goers to start the summer movie season early.
