Let Victoria Beckham tell you what she wants, what she really, really wants. The former Spice Girl just wants to be heard. Literally!

Before Victoria Beckham blossomed into the talented entrepreneur we all know and love, she was a member of an immensely popular ’90s pop group that you may have heard of called The Spice Girls. Along with Melanie Brown, Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell, and Melanie Chishom, The Spice Girls became one of the most popular musical acts of the mid-nineties with hits like “Spice Up Your Life,” “Say You’ll Be There,” “2 Become 1,” and, of course, renowned karaoke favorite “Wannabe.” But speaking at the Vogue 100 exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery last week, the former Posh Spice made a shocking revelation: Producers used to turn her mic off during Spice Girls performances.

“They used to turn it off and just let the others sing,” Beckham told host Claudia Winkleman as reported by UK’s The Sun. “I got the last laugh – and now my mic is well and truly on, finally.”

Wow. Spice Up Your Life but turn down that mic!

Since rumors of a potential Spice Girls reunion continue to pop up every now and again, we now have yet another reason to reunite the ’90s supergroup: We want to hear Victoria Beckham sing!
