Before Hugh Jackman hangs up his claws for good in 2017’s third and final Wolverine film, he’s going to make an appearance in X-Men: Apocalypse.

Earlier today, Jackman tweeted out a sneak peek from the forthcoming X-Men film along with the simple caption, “W.”  The clip features Tye Sheridan’s Cyclops informing Jennifer Lawrence’s Mystique that they had “a little help” disposing of some adversaries before we catch a glimpse of Wolverine activating his claws.

Jackman’s clip is from the final Apocalypse trailer, which was released earlier today. Along with Wolverine’s surprise cameo, fans are treated to more footage of Olivia Munn’s Psylocke, Mystique’s quest to teach the next generation of mutants to fight, and, of course, Oscar Isaac’s abominable Apocalypse.

“Everything they’ve built will fall, and from the ashes of their world, we’ll build a better one.”

Classic supervillain. Always trying to completely obliterate the planet.

“If I’m going to teach your kids something, I’m going to teach them how to fight.”

Also starring James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Sophie Turner, Nicholas Hoult, and Rose Byrne, X-Men: Apocalypse arrives in theaters on May 27.
