Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 just got a bit more awesome. According to some new on-set photos, Castle star and Firefly alum Nathan Fillion will appear in the upcoming sequel!

According to Vulture, Fillion will play the role of Simon Williams in the highly anticipated second installment of Star Lord’s journey. Marvel comics aficionados will undoubtedly recognize Williams, who is a long-running character. In the comics, he’s a good-looking actor who also happens to have superhuman powers which include super-strength, the ability to fly, and superhuman endurance. In some issues, he even suits up under the alias, Wonder Man, and fights alongside the Avengers.

Thanks to a few photos taken by a fan on the set of the sequel, we know that at some point during Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, we’ll see a Simon Williams Film Festival come into play. The on-set photos also feature a few blurry close-ups of some posters of Williams’ biggest silver screen hits. One that definitely caught our attention is that of Fillion as Williams starring in a Tony Stark biopic.

You can check out all of the fake movie posters set to be featured during the Simon Williams Film Festival via Imgur (h/t Vulture) below:

This isn’t Fillion’s first time visiting The Guardians of the Galaxy. The actor also made an uncredited guest appearance in the first film. This time, however, we’re hoping he gets a little more screentime!

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 opens in theaters on May 5, 2017.
