A brand new trailer for Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them just premiered at the 2016 MTV Movie Awards, it’s even more magical than we had hoped!

Newt Scamander himself, Eddie Redmayne, was on hand at the annual award show to share the latest trailer for the highly anticipated film, and it’s chock-full of moments that are bound to make Potter fans far and wide jump for joy!

Right off the bat, the latest trailer gives us loads of new information about Newt’s life prior to his arrival in New York City. For starters, we learn that much like Hagrid, he was kicked out of Hogwarts for “endangering human life with a beast.” We also learn that there’s one professor we’re very familiar with already who championed for the school to go easy on him. That professor was none other than Albus Dumbledore himself!

“I wonder, what makes Albus Dumbledore so fond of you, Mr. Scamander?” asks an unseen voice as the trailer shows us snapshots of some of the characters we’ll meet as Newt journeys to America. Considering the late Headmaster was mentioned in the newest trailer, we’re definitely hoping that means we’ll see him show up at some point during Newt’s journey.

From there, the trailer plunges us into the magical world of the United States as Newt’s adventures begin to unfold. We’re definitely even more excited to experience the magical world of New York City in the roaring 20s right alongside Newt when the film hits theaters later this year!

Directed by David Yates (The Legend of Tarzan, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2), and written by Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling, the film also stars Ezra Miller (The Perks of Being A Wallflower), Colin Farrell (In Bruges), Jon Voight (Same Kind of Different As Me), Katherine Waterston (Manhattan Romance), Alison Sudol (The Lucky One), and Gemma Chan (Humans).

Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them opens in theaters November 18, 2016.
