We may have said a tearful goodbye to Harry Hart (Colin Firth) in Kingsman: The Secret Service, but it turns out, there may be hope for Eggsy’s mentor after all!

Actor Taron Egerton teased Hart’s return in the upcoming sequel via his Twitter account earlier today, when he posted a photo hinting that the secret agent might still be alive.

“A message from an old friend #Kingsman” tweeted Egerton along with a very interesting photo. The picture features a pair of sunglasses with one of the lenses popped out. Beneath the shades, there is text that reads “Reports of my death have been greatly exaggerated.”

Though Harry was taken out with a bullet to the face after an epic fight sequence in the first film, we wouldn’t put it past the secret service agent to have survived somehow!

Set to be released in theaters next summer, the highly anticipated sequel to 2014’s breakout hit is set to find Eggsy and the rest of his crew joining forces with America’s Kingsman counterpart, the Statesman.

Egerton and Mark Strong (who plays Merlin in the series) will be joined by some big names when the sequel hits theaters, including Halle Berry and Julianne Moore. Berry will play the head of the CIA, while Moore will play the villainous Poppy.

Kingsman: The Golden Circle opens in theaters June 16, 2017
