Looking to emulate that effortlessly cool, #CoachellaLife bohemian style worn by every cool California girl on Instagram? Well look no further than former High School Musical star, current flower child Vanessa Hudgens. Ness has got the look on lock, making her signature fashion style so deeply her you can smell the incense all the way on the other side of the country.

So on a real-girl budget, how can you realistically transform your closet into something even Ms. Hudgens would approve of? We called up fashion blogger Shelly Stuckman to get the low down.

“I have been a fan of Vanessa Hudgens since I first saw High School Musical back in the day,” Shelly tells People’s Choice. I remember thinking how stylish and cool she was. I was an instant fan of not only her talent, but her eye for fashion.”

“Vanessa’s style is very bold,” she continues. “I feel with every outfit she makes a statement. I love how Vanessa’s style can be casual and relaxed on the streets and then on the red carpet she is completely glamorous, all while staying true to her bohemian aesthetic.”

Adds Stuckman: “It is a magical thing when someone has confidence to not only keep up with the latest trends, but also set them, and I believe Vanessa is a total trendsetter. ”

And that, we can all agree with! Shelly demonstrates how to emulate Vanessa’s style below:
