Everyone’s favorite Boston boys are teaming up to bring a quirky comedy to TV.

Buddies since their Good Will Hunting days, Ben Affleck and Matt Damon are already co-producing HBO’s filmmaking series, Project Greenlight. But now, E! News reports that the stars are combining forces to executive produce a new show for FOX.

Not much is known about this new endeavor beyond the show premise — and it’s a weird one. This new half-hour comedy will reportedly follow the life of a 20-something girl working in a frozen yogurt shop (as 20-something girls do), who suddenly discovers she has telekinetic powers.

It might sound a little random or outlandish, but aren’t those the storylines viewers love the most?

Affleck and Damon will executive produce the show under their LA based production company, Pearl Street Films—aptly named after the famous street in Boston’s Charlestown neighborhood. Jennifer Todd and 30 Rock producer and writer Colleen McGuinness are also on deck to produce the sci-fi comedy.

With no title or clear-cut casting to date, FOX has reportedly OK’ed the script. Talk about the power of a name!

With such a kooky plot line, which Hollywood young actress is primed to play the supernatural froyo slinger? Let us know your cast picks in the comments.
